We are not part of River Parks Authority, the City of Tulsa, or the Turkey Trail Team, and we receive no funding from them. Our work is powered entirely by community support through donations and volunteers.
The Tulsa Urban Wilderness Coalition (TUWC) is an independent, volunteer-driven nonprofit dedicated to protecting and promoting Tulsa’s wild spaces—across multiple trail systems, including Turkey Mountain and beyond.

Today, our work has branched out to pollinator meadows, monarch waystations, trail accessibility projects, trail systems stretching across North East Oklahoma and community advocacy across Tulsa. Wherever there’s a public wild place that needs care, TUWC is there. Speaking for the trail users.
