The project will be built in two phases. The first phase of the build out will be approximately 318,000 square feet and an additional 82,000 square feet will make up the second phase for a total of 400,000 square feet.
‘Cherokee Outlets’ to bring 1,000 jobs to Catoosa
Simon Property Group announced last month it would build an upscale outlet mall in west Tulsa. Simon is also owner of Woodland Hills Mall in Tulsa.
About 70,000 cars per day pass by Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa, which boasts a 90 percent occupancy rate for overnight guests.
The Hard Rock announcement coincides with news of other major retail centers under development or construction in northeast Oklahoma and the Tulsa area.

Anyway Turkey Mountain is unique. A wilderness within sight of downtown. It is important to keep it that way. An outlet mall can go anywhere. If you think we need one of course. We’ve been doing fine without is my opinion.
