This is supposed to be the wall as viewed from about halfway down the pipeline trail. It’s cute how road bikes are leisurely pedaling up what is a steep incline on a dirt road. And no helmets!! This is their idea of camouflage the wall. Perfectly spaced large trees near the top and hundreds of saplings in between whatever existing trees they decide to leave for us. Give it 40-50 years, and it’ll look great. I’ll be dead by then.

Turkey Mountain and traffic at heart of west Tulsans’ concerns about proposed outlet mall

Several people in the audience, including Kaye Price, challenged Reynolds’ assertion. Price said she has seen renderings that show that the retaining wall on the east side of the mall would be visible from a ledge on Turkey Mountain.
“What you see now (in Reynolds’ rendering) is a little bit of trees,” Price said. “But from the top of the ridge your view is a 50-foot retaining wall. That is also what the children” at a YMCA camp would see.
